Here’s the last day of school for every public district in Rhode Island

As the start to June grows closer, so does the end of the school year in Rhode Island.

While school typically lets out in mid-June, the exact date for the last day fluctuates depending on the district. Snow days and other unexpected closures can also extend the school year, as schools must reach 180 days of instruction per year, as required by the Rhode Island Department of Education.

This year, the Department of Education passed a waiver allowing schools to be in session for 178 days due to closures during the historic Blizzard of 2026, so summer should not start too much later than usual…
