A local school district recently closed out the school year by recognizing two teachers for having gone above and beyond in the classroom during the year.
On May 23, Aransas Pass ISD announced its annual Teacher of the Year Awards. The district recognized Faulk Elementary first grade teacher Clarissa Flores as its Primary Teacher of the Year, and Aransas Pass High School math teacher Melissa Moreno was selected as the district’s Secondary Teacher of the Year.
Both Flores and Moreno will now have the chance to represent Aransas Pass ISD while having a chance to be nominated for the Texas Association of School Administrators (TASA) Teacher of the Year honors from the Education Service Center Region 2…
