State lawmakers back $20M million bailout for Albany

ALBANY — State lawmakers are set to approve an aid package for the city, which includes $20 million in additional funds to close the city’s 2025 budget deficit.

The funds for the city are included in state budget bills that legislators were expected to pass Wednesday.
