Stacks first announced its plans to open the new shop in 2024. The business takes over the former Stagecoach Coffee space, sitting on the ground floor of the 15-story, multi-use building and steps away from the New York State Capitol and downtown warehouse district.
“With this new location at 90 State Street, our focus is on creating a true community gathering space for the growing professional and residential population, as well as for visitors experiencing everything downtown has to offer,” said owner Tyler Wrightson. “We’re looking forward to bringing even more exceptional coffee to downtown.”
Each Stacks location highlights different brewing methods as well as different coffee regions and beans. The State Street menu will focus on making coffee through contemporary techniques and sustainable practices, according to the business.
