KAWKAWLIN TWP, MI — Police are investigating a crash in Bay County that claimed the life of a teenager on Memorial Day weekend.
The two-vehicle crash occurred about 6:10 p.m. on Saturday, May 23, on South Huron Road/M-13 near Mara Drive in Kawkawlin Township, according to Sheriff Troy R. Cunningham. Deputies determined a white 2020 Chevrolet Equinox had been heading north when it crossed the center line and collided head-on with a southbound blue 2018 Chrysler Pacifica, Cunningham said.
The Pacifica was driven by a 58-year-old woman and a 20-year-old woman sat in the front passenger seat. In the backseat was 17-year-old Belleville resident Aiden Dornbos, who suffered fatal injuries, the sheriff said…
