(FOX40.COM) — A man who immigrated to the U.S. from Mexico at the age of 12 is now a multi-millionaire after a lucky Scratchers win in northern California.
In March, Fernando Ayala went to a Quik Stop in Sonoma County where he bought a Royal Jackpot Scratchers game. That ticket, with a serial number ending in 18, won him $40.
The next day, Ayala returned to the convenience store, using those winnings to play again. The second time, on a ticket with a serial number ending in 17, he won $15 million…
