Savannah Police task force seizes guns, drugs after traffic stop

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — A Tuesday night traffic stop resulted in the seizure of more than 200 grams of marijuana and several guns, a Savannah Police spokesperson announced Wednesday.

The seizure, and arrest of a 23-year-old man, occurred after officers with the Savannah Police Department’s Violent Crimes Task Force stopped a car at Montgomery Street and Pearl Street.

The driver, 23-year-old Zyqui Coley, was on probation for possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute. Officials conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle and found that Coley was in possession of 46.23 grams of marijuana, a police spokesperson reported…
