Bodycam video shows dramatic rescue at Midwest City apartment fire

MIDWEST CITY, Okla. (KFOR) — Video released by the Midwest City Police shows the intense moments during an apartment complex fire that occurred earlier this month.

According to the Midwest City Fire Department (MWCFD), at around 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6, crews responded to a fire at the Sandhills Apartments near North Midwest Boulevard and Northeast 10th Street.

Once at the scene, firefighters saw flames coming from a second-story breezeway of the apartment complex. Due to the fire blocking the main exit areas, three residents were forced to jump through their windows to escape.
