The Texas General Land Office recently hosted a vessel turn-in in San Patricio County, and Land Commissioner Dawn Buckingham said the event was a success.
According to a news release from the GLO, San Patricio County residents turned in 40 boats or vessels totaling more than 700 linear feet during the three-day event from May 14-16. The county said there were also 210 gallons of pollution, along with five batteries and one fire extinguisher, turned over during the turn-in event.
