GRAND ISLAND, Neb — A traffic stop along Interstate 80 in southeast Nebraska led to the seizure of more than 500 pounds of suspected cocaine and the arrest of a California man.
Troopers with the Nebraska State Patrol arrested one person after finding the drugs during a stop on I-80 on Wednesday. At about 10:25 a.m., a trooper spotted an eastbound Nissan Rogue following a semi too closely near Milford at mile marker 382.
During the stop, an NSP K9 detected the odor of a controlled substance coming from the vehicle. Troopers searched the Nissan and found about 525 pounds of suspected cocaine and 9.3 grams of suspected heroin…
