MADISON, Wis. — The committee in charge of searching for UW-Madison’s next athletic director expects the new hire will begin work this summer, a university spokesperson said Wednesday.
The search entered its next phase Thursday, with listening sessions ending and the application period opening. Applications for the job will be open until June 10.
A UW spokesperson said that interim Chancellor Eric Wilcots, search committee chair Prof. Lauren Bishop and firm CSA Search and Consulting spent the last two weeks meeting with student-athletes, coaches and other stakeholders to figure out what qualities the next athletic director should have…
