After deadly wrong-way crash, community lifts up grieving Oklahoma families

A wrong-way crash cut short the lives of four young Oklahomans, leaving their families to grieve, but through the tragedy, they’re finding support from the community as they work to navigate the sudden, unexpected loss.

Kiercy Hickson, 20, of Stillwater, and Quincy Jones, 19, Haliegh Salazar, 18, and Brad Palmer, 18, all of El Reno, were killed when an alleged drunken driver, going the wrong way on Interstate 40 near Yukon, struck their vehicle head-on on Friday, May 22.

The four young friends were all pronounced dead at the scene, cutting short lives their families say were promising and just getting started.
