SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – We have another hot and mainly sunny day ahead! Today’s forecast will once again feature high temperatures in the upper 80s to 90s across much of the area. Make sure you’re staying hydrated and taking frequent breaks while spending time outdoors today! We’ll have another chance for some pop up showers and storms across the area on later this afternoon and evening due to the heating of the day. The severe risk will be very low and most outdoor plans will be in good shape if you have any!
Besides a spotty shower here and there, we’ll be staying mainly dry through the end of the week. Rain chances increase Friday night and into the weekend. The risk for severe weather is looking low, but that could change since these rain chances are still a few days away. This is something we’ll be monitoring, so stay with your First Alert Weather Team as we track the storms! Temperatures by this weekend will be slightly cooler, in the low to middle 80s, which is still well above average for this time of the year. Chances for pop up showers and storms will continue through the weekend…
