EUGENE, Ore. — A former manager of the Eugene Weekly has been sentenced to prison in a case tied to an embezzlement investigation that coincided with the newspaper temporarily going out of print, and layoffs of its staff.
Elisha Joe Young, 38, was sentenced on May 27, 2026, to a 3-year prison term and 2-years of post-prison supervision with a parole officer.
