Kentucky’s largest cities are seeing more renters move than homeowners

KENTUCKY, USA — Renters in Kentucky’s largest cities are more mobile while homeowners tend to be locked-in, a recent study has found.

PropertyShark recently analyzed Census long-distance migration data and found that between 2019 and 2024, Kentucky’s two largest cities saw owners moving less while renters moved more.
