Police chase leads to Hendersonville arrest

Hendersonville police recently arrested a man after reports of a stolen vehicle allegedly led to a high-speed chase in the city.

According to court records, police received a report on Thursday, May 14, from a license plate reader that a vehicle reported as stolen had entered the city via Vietnam Veterans Boulevard. The Sumner County Sheriff’s Office had reportedly issued a BOLO (Be On the Lookout) for the same vehicle earlier in the day.

The vehicle was allegedly spotted in the Twice Daily convenience store on New Shackle Island Road shortly after 10 p.m. Police attempted to make contact with the driver, who allegedly backed into a police vehicle and then fled along Forrest Retreat Road. Police pursued and followed the vehicle, which eventually was disabled after hitting a curb neat Trinity Baptist Church…
