Katie, an adaptive athlete with no right hand and social media creator known for her Instagram account Slightlyoff.balance shared bodycam footage from a February traffic stop in Florida. Katie was pulled over for distracted driving on February 11, at the time a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office deputy claimed that the creator was holding a phone with her “right hand” while driving along North Dixie Highway.
The joke is, Katie is an adaptive athlete and doesn’t have a right hand. Katie is known for curating content centered around adaptive fitness. She has built a large following across her social media channels through a video series which she calls “Doing One Arm S**t.”
The creator has a court hearing for Distracted Driving on May 27.
