UNMC chancellor candidate outlines vision for addressing healthcare shortage

KEARNEY, Neb. (KSNB) — The University of Nebraska Medical Center’s priority candidate for chancellor said addressing the state’s healthcare shortage will require better pay for educators and keeping students in Nebraska after graduation.

Dr. Dele Davies, who has served as interim chancellor since 2024, spoke about his vision for the department.
