CADDO PARISH, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — A Louisiana literacy program that has served thousands of families in Caddo Parish is gaining national attention after a new study found it significantly improves early childhood learning outcomes.
Prime Time Preschool, a program of the Louisiana Endowment for Humanities, has operated in Caddo Parish since 1995 through local partnerships.
Since its launch, the program has reached more than 7,000 families in the parish and distributed more than 73,000 books to help build home libraries and encourage reading outside the classroom…
