Boise Airport Director Rebecca Hupp to leave city employment after 14 years

BOISE, Idaho — Rebecca Hupp, director of Boise Airport, will retire from the City of Boise this June, ending a 14-year tenure that coincided with significant growth at the airport and across the Treasure Valley.

Passenger traffic through the airport increased by 82% over the past decade, according to the city. During Hupp’s leadership, the airport completed major infrastructure projects, expanded air service and attracted private-sector investment. City officials also credited Hupp with building a “high-performing airport team” that focused on engagement, innovation and “operational excellence.”

“Serving the Boise community and leading this exceptional airport team has been the honor of a lifetime,” Hupp said in a news release. “I am incredibly proud of what we have accomplished together.”…
