After millions in jewelry stolen from Boston home, former caretaker is arrested

Months after millions of dollars’ worth of fine jewelry was stolen from a locked safe in a Boston home, a man who’d worked as a home-care assistant there was arrested as a suspect, police said Thursday.

Cory Kisakye, a 27-year-old Randolph resident, ,was taken into custody in Miami Florida on Tuesday and later arraigned in Boston on burglary and theft charges in connection with the Nov. 18 burglary in Jamaica Plain, Boston police said.

In the burglary, two people emptied a locked safe room of a large fine jewelry collection that belonged to the owners of the home on Allandale Road, including Tiffany, Piaget, Chopard and De Griogono pieces worth up to $850,000, according to police.
