Steam locomotive ‘Big Boy’ to travel through Fort Wayne on cross-country tour

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – The world’s largest operating steam locomotive is making a historic coast-to-coast journey with an upcoming overnight stay in Fort Wayne.

“Big Boy” departed from Cheyenne, Wyoming, on Monday. It’s set to arrive in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on July 4 in celebration of America’s 250th anniversary.

On July 6th, it will begin the journey back to Wyoming…
