STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — An MTA employee has been arrested and hit with fraud-related charges after allegedly submitting false Staten Island Railway pay stubs and W-2 forms to Family Court.
Curtis Richardson, 42, of St. George, has been charged with two counts of offering a false instrument for filing in addition to two counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument with the intent to defraud the Family Court of the State of New York, court records show.
According to court documents, Richardson submitted the false documents between Nov. 9, 2022, and June 26, 2023, “with knowledge that it was forged and with intent to defraud, deceive, and injure another, uttered and possessed a forged instrument, namely, SIRTOA paystubs and W2 forms, a written instrument officially issued or created by a public office, public servant or [governmental] instrumentality.”…
