Man accused in Springdale homicide case now facing murder charges in central Arkansas

PULASKI COUNTY, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — A North Little Rock man already facing murder charges in connection with a Northwest Arkansas homicide is facing more charges for a separate murder that took place more than 20 years ago.

Ray Jordan, 67, is facing capital murder, aggravated residential burglary, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by certain persons charges in Washington County.

His charges are connected to the April 2023 shooting death of Deunrae Livingston, 32, in Springdale. He has pleaded not guilty to those charges and is scheduled to appear in court for his trial on July 30.

On Wednesday, the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office said its Criminal Investigations Division arrested Jordan in connection with a homicide that occurred on March 10, 2004.
