Eaton is planning to build a 370,000-sq-ft (34,374-sq-m) manufacturing plant in Bellevue, Neb.
It will increase production of medium-voltage switchgear, which are used to protect electrical equipment in data centers, utilities and industrial generation and distribution systems.
The power management company said it will spend $30 million on the project, which will be designed to support switchgear structures at the level, quality and speed required by artificial intelligence (AI).
