Omaha Nation man sentenced for shooting neighbor during argument

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – A man from the Omaha Nation Indian Reservation was sentenced to more than 10 years in federal prison for assault with a dangerous weapon and using a firearm during a crime of violence.

United States Attorney Lesley A. Woods announced that Charles Aldrich, 18, was sentenced Wednesday in federal court.

Aldrich was sentenced to 37 months’ imprisonment for the assault charge and a consecutive 84 months’ imprisonment for the use of a firearm during his crime of violence, for a total sentence of 121 months’ imprisonment…
