Golden Alert canceled after missing Versailles man with dementia located

VERSAILLES, Ky. (FOX 56) — The Versailles Police Department issued a Golden Alert early Friday for a missing man, and he was later located.

Stevie Abbott, 61, went missing around 9 p.m. May 28, according to police.

Authorities said Abbott, who is dependent upon medication, suffers from dementia, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and asthma and is believed to be on foot.
