MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Lower humidity results in a dry forecast today before the risk of showers and storms returns on Saturday.

TODAY

A frontal boundary moving to the south is bringing a brief break from the oppressive humidity and daily storm chances that have dominated the region.

Skies remain dry heading into this afternoon with daytime highs reaching to near 80 degrees along the beaches and into the mid-80s for inland areas.

Conditions are expected to stay dry through the day.
