ROCKFORD — Work has begun to build a new Chase Bank along Perryville Road near Meijer. It’s one of several projects in the works that are filling in First Midwest Group’s Perryville Promenade retail development.
The 3,400-square-foot bank is being built at 2102 McFarland Road. It will be Chase’s fifth branch in the Rockford metro area, and its second new site in less than two years. It’s expected to open in the first quarter of 2027.
The bank’s other most recent new branch opened in December 2024 at 6001 E. State St., which is on the southeast corner of State Street and Mulford Road where Royal Dragon restaurant once stood. It replaced a location that was across the street…
