A Baxter County resident was injured when her car hydroplaned north of Springfield Wednesday evening. The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) says the 58-year-old female from Lakeview sustained moderate injuries, as did her 52-year-old female passenger from Logan, Iowa. Both were transported by ambulance to Cox Medical Center South in Springfield for treatment of their injuries.
The MSHP does not release the names of those injured in motor vehicle or boating accidents.
