Wichita school creates peer mentor program to promote inclusion

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – A local school created a new peer mentor program to work toward inclusion, and KWCH and DeVaughn James Injury Lawyers gave a helping hand.

Sixth graders at Blessed Sacrament Catholic School in Wichita are working to make everyone feel welcome through a new program called the Inclusio Crew.

“Everyone is surrounded by kids with disabilities and not many people do anything about it, so it’s our job to step in to help them,” a student said…
