POLICE AUDIO CAN BE FOUND AT THE END OF THIS ARTICLE: Law enforcement received a call around 11:39pm on May 27th after reports of a theft-in-progress at a corner store on Broadway in Buffalo.
The 911 caller told police that the armed suspect told him that he would stab him and his kids who were behind the counter. The caller further told police that the suspect kept approaching the counter with his hands in his pockets as if he was going to pull out a knife or some other weapon. It was not reported what items, if any, he took from the store. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male.
Police responded to the scene. It is unknown if the male was located and/or arrested. No further information is available at this time…
