Federal agents arrest 4 Greater Cleveland men in major drug trafficking investigation

CLEVELAND — Federal authorities have arrested four Cuyahoga County men accused of operating a large-scale drug manufacturing and trafficking organization across Northeast Ohio following a 15-month investigation by the Cleveland Homeland Security Task Force.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Ohio, the following men were charged by criminal complaint:

  • Marcus Brown, 36, of Cleveland
  • Kardell Henderson, 32, of Solon
  • Terence Montgomery, 32, of Cleveland
  • Devonte Poteat, 30, of Euclid

Authorities said all four men were arrested and remain in federal custody pending further court proceedings.

According to an affidavit filed by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, investigators began probing large-scale narcotics trafficking operations throughout Northern Ohio in late summer 2025.
