FOUR OAKS — Bentonville Battlefield State Historic Site will host “Heavy Thunder: Summer Artillery and Infantry Program” from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 13.
The free event will feature living history demonstrations highlighting the role of artillery and infantry units during the 1865 Battle of Bentonville. Bentonville Battlefield is administered by the Division of State Historic Sites within the N.C. Department of Natural and Cultural Resources.
