JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) – Jonesboro police arrested a West Memphis woman after officers said she fired a pistol in a residential area where children were present.
According to the probable cause affidavit, on May 27 officers with the Jonesboro Police Department responded to an address in the 300 block of Reeves St.
Prior to their arrival, dispatch advised that a woman, later identified as Kadaisha Markee’ Rancia Taylor, 21, of West Memphis, had fired a gun, pointed it at multiple individuals and fled the scene in a silver passenger vehicle with temporary tags.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with multiple victims and witnesses. One victim said she and another person arrived at the residence to drop off a child when they observed Taylor parked in the driveway. Witnesses said Taylor had been posting threatening statements and videos on social media about one of the victims throughout the day.
