Central teen arrested after racial slur spray-painted on woman’s home

CENTRAL, La. (WAFB) — A 13-year-old was arrested after deputies said a Central woman’s home was vandalized with obscenities and a racial slur, the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office said.

The juvenile was charged with criminal damage to property by defacing it with graffiti, criminal trespass, and hate crimes.

During the investigation, deputies reviewed surveillance video related to the incident and obtained a search warrant for the juvenile’s residence.
