(WFRV) – The most recent Brown County Seat Belt Task Force deployment was on Tuesday, and it resulted in multiple stops, citations, warnings, and even one arrest.
In a release, the Green Bay Police Department provided the complete statistics of the Tuesday, May 26 deployment, which included 62 stops, 69 total citations, and 1 arrest.
- Total Stops: 62
- Seat Belt Citations: 46
- Seat Belt Warnings: 9
- Other Citations: 23
- Other Warnings: 27
- Warrant Arrests: 1
Included in the “total stops,” “other citations,” and “warnings” were said by police to be offenses related to equipment and registration violations.

The Brown County Seat Belt Task Force is said to be a grant-funded, multi-jurisdictional effort between the Ashwaubenon Public Safety, Brown County Sheriff’s Office, De Pere Police Department, Hobart/Lawrence Police Department, Oneida Police Department, Village of Pulaski Police Department, Green Bay Police Department, UW-Green Bay Police Department, and Wrightstown Police Department.
