Madison man found with cocaine in vehicle after running red light

MADISON, Wis. — Madison police arrested a man after cocaine was reportedly found in his vehicle during a traffic stop.

An officer reportedly saw the man run a red light near the intersection of Mendota Street and Beaumont Circle just after midnight on Friday. The officer pulled the man over and allegedly saw a white powdery substance in the vehicle.

The driver was detained, and police said a field test showed the substance tested positive for cocaine…
