MONUMENT, Colo. (KKTV) – Monument Fire Department announced a leadership update on Friday, May 29, saying their search for a new fire chief has ended.
The Monument Fire District Board of Directors unanimously selected Colin Fitzgerald of Leawood, Kansas, as the next chief.
Chief Fitzgerald brings more than 30 years of fire and emergency services experience to this role, the fire department said. He currently serves as Fire Chief for the Leawood Fire Department and has been with that organization since 2012, including service as Fire Chief since 2020…
