Trumps Top Female Aides Spark Talk with Matching MAGA Makeovers

Additional Coverage:

Donald Trump has long been in the global spotlight, but recently, his special assistant has been drawing significant attention of her own.

Margo Martin, 30, who serves as the 79-year-old former president’s special assistant and communications advisor, gained widespread notice during Trump’s recent state visit to China. Having worked with Trump since his first term, Martin primarily manages his social media accounts and shared behind-the-scenes footage from the trip that quickly went viral, amassing millions of views. Trump himself has previously praised her appearance, calling her “the most beautiful photographer in the world.”

In addition to Martin, another figure tied to Trump has attracted commentary: Karoline Leavitt, the White House press secretary, aged 28. A recently resurfaced photo shows Martin and Leavitt standing side by side in front of Air Force One, with Martin dressed in an oversized pink jacket and Leavitt in a gray sweater. Both appeared to be without makeup, smiling naturally for the camera.

Despite their casual demeanor, social media users have been quick to draw comparisons between the two women, suggesting they have both undergone similar cosmetic enhancements-a so-called “MAGA makeover.” On the platform X, commenters joked about the apparent similarity in their appearances, with quips referencing a “buy one, get one” deal on lip treatments.

To address these speculations, the Mirror US consulted Dr. Gizem Seymenoglu, a Facial Aesthetics Practitioner.

Dr. Seymenoglu noted that much of the perceived resemblance may stem from similar makeup styles and facial expressions rather than any identical cosmetic procedures.

She pointed out that both women wear comparable lip tones and contouring, and their smiles in the photo are strikingly alike, contributing to the impression of similarity.

Moreover, Dr. Seymenoglu observed that a broader aesthetic trend favors defined lip borders, smoother contours, and subtly fuller lower lips-styles that have become increasingly popular and may explain the comparable looks. In her view, these shared features likely reflect this widespread beauty trend rather than direct evidence of matching cosmetic treatments.

As public fascination with figures in the political sphere continues, it seems that style and presentation remain as much a part of the conversation as policy and politics.
