LOCKLAND, Ohio (WKRC) – Three weeks after 30-year-old Bukola Pereira was shot to death just days before she was set to graduate with her MBA from Xavier University, investigators are still searching for the person responsible, and her family is stepping forward with what her husband called a “substantial” reward.
Pereira was killed eight days before her graduation after an armed gunman came into the auto salvage business where she worked in Lockland. According to the 911 call, she followed the man after he left the store and was shot dead immediately afterward.
Police initially described the aftermath as chaotic, calling it an active shooter situation. Lockland schools also went into lockdown.
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation but said it had no additional details to release because of the active nature of the case…
