SUFFOLK, Va. — A Suffolk man faces multiple felony charges after police say he was connected to a business burglary and later fled from officers during a traffic stop.
According to the Suffolk Police Department, officers were investigating a burglary reported May 28 at a business in the 2700 block of Godwin Boulevard. Police believe the break-in occurred during the early morning hours.
The following day, at about 2:47 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle along Route 58 near Wilroy Road. Police said the driver fled on foot and hid in a nearby marsh. Multiple police resources were used to locate and arrest the suspect…
