Body recovered from Chicago River on Southwest Side: CPD

CHICAGO (WGN) – A body was recovered from the Chicago River on the city’s Southwest Side Friday afternoon.

Chicago police said a man’s body was recovered just after 4:45 p.m. in the 3700 block of South Pulaski Road near the Stevenson Expressway, between the Archer Heights and Little Village neighborhoods.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to investigators.
