CLINTON, Miss. (WJTV) – The City of Clinton announced the Pinehaven Bridge has reopened to traffic after more than a year of construction.
The bridge replacement project began in April 2025 and included the complete reconstruction of the bridge crossing Bogue Chitto Creek. City leaders said the new bridge was built to improve safety, reliability and long-term travel conditions for motorists in the area.
Tippah County Lake to reopen for fishing, boating
Pinehaven Drive remained closed for about 13 months while crews removed the old bridge and built the new structure. During construction, residents and commuters used detours as work continued.
