In addition to big weekends like the Edina Art Fair at 50th and France this summer, the district’s business association has unveiled a series of free weekly concerts.
The Friday night parade of bands and singer-songwriters will get underway on June 12 and last through Sept. 4. The lineup includes rock ensemble Favourite Girl, REM cover band The Reckoning Crew, and singer-songwriter Colin Bracewell, among others.
“I’m thrilled to bring the 50th and France Summer Concert Series into its sixth season,” says concert series organizer Anna Devine. “This summer, we have some familiar faces returning to the concert series as well as some debuts from established Twin Cities musicians.”
Each night of the series will have headliners hitting the stage from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m., as well as a student opener playing from 5:30–6 p.m., all at The Plaza at Nolan Mains…
