PHOTOS: Veterans will receive grand welcome home celebration in Dayton

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The first annual Honor Flight is returning this Saturday evening; the public is asked to welcome them home.

Honor Flight Dayton (HFD) said a group of Korean, Vietnam and Cold War veterans will be returning from Washington, D.C. on May 30 at 9:30 p.m. at the Dayton International Airport.

For many of these veterans, this return home will be the first time they have been thanked for their service and sacrifices from over 50 years ago in a grand way.
