ALDOT will close I-65 northbound at Exit 318 at Lacon in Morgan County for one night next week to repair the deck of the northbound bridge over the CSX railroad.
Weather permitting, ALDOT plans to close the northbound roadway about 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, and detour all northbound traffic to U.S. Highway 31.
The closure will continue into Wednesday, June 3. The time required for the repair and the duration of the closure will depend on the amount of time permitted for work above the railroad. Crews can work only when there is no train traffic…
