WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — An attempted traffic stop escalated into an assault on an agent, a chase through West Palm Beach, and a hospital lockdown Friday night before ending in an arrest.
Shortly after 9 p.m, investigators with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office say a driver, whose identity has not been released, committed an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon on an agent during an attempted traffic stop, prompting a pursuit.
