Cincinnati man arrested after months-long theft spree that left thousands in damages

CINCINNATI (WKRC) – A Cincinnati man was arrested after an alleged 3-month-long theft spree that caused thousands of dollars worth of damages to multiple businesses.

According to court documents from the Hamilton County Municipal Court, Shannon Gibson was charged with five counts of breaking and entering and one count of criminal damaging or endangering.

The first of the six incidents listed in the court documents occurred on October 3, 2025 at a Family Dollar. Gibson allegedly threw a large rock through the front window of the store, causing approximately $3,000 in damages.
