LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — One person suffered burn injuries after a gas leak caused an explosion and a fire at a Lancaster Township home on Saturday night.
The incident occurred around 6:35 p.m. in the 1600 block of Chadwick Circle. Fire crews arrived to see significant structural damage to the home and doors that had been blown off from the explosion.
According to Lancaster Township Fire Department, one resident was taken to a local hospital for burn injuries, but all other occupants and pets evacuated safely.
